Low Vitamin D Levels and Cancer - Why should you test?

Low vitamin D levels increase the risk for most cancers including:

Vitamin D supports the effectiveness of many chemotherapy drugs including:

  • gemcitabine
  • cisplatin

Each person's vitamin D3 blood level is unique. I base my vitamin D3 dosage on initial blood levels. After taking vitamin D3 for 3 months it's time to repeat the dose to make sure you are getting the optimal level.

ZRT Labs has an at home finger stick blood collection kit. You can order the test kit directly from the laboratory for $75. Place the drops of blood on the test pad and place the kit in the mail. You will receive the vitamin D blood levels within 2 weeks.
