Lung Cancer Curcumin
Curcumin and Alternative Lung Cancer Treatment Research Brief.
Curcumin is a yellow substance of turmeric, a common Indian spice
which is derived from the rhizome of the curcuma longa plant. Many studies have demonstrated that curcumin
has anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties.
Laboratory non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
study found curcumin enhanced the effectiveness of carboplatin. [i]
Drug manufacturers, hospitals and universities are developing synthetic versions of curcumin for prescription
lung cancer treatments.[ii]
