Aspirin: Decrease Breast Cancer Recurrence

A long term study found breast cancer survivors who took aspirin after
completing treatment were half as likely to die or have their tumors spread compare to those who didn’t
take aspirin.
This study followed 4,164 nurses in the Nurses’ Health Study who
were diagnosed with stages I, II, or III breast cancer between 1976 and 2002. Aspirin use was associated with
a decreased risk of breast cancer death.
Nurses that took aspirin 2 to 5 days a week had a 60 percent
reduced risk of the cancer spreading and a 71 percent lower risk of breast cancer death. Nurses that took 6 to 7
aspirins a week lowered the risk of breast cancer spreading by 43 percent and the risk of breast cancer death by 64
percent.
Among women living at least 1 year after a breast cancer diagnosis, aspirin use was
associated with a deceased risk of recurrence and breast cancer death.

Natural Cancer Treatment Pearl
Inflammation chemicals in our bodies stimulate cancer growth. Anti-inflammatory
drugs, herbs and omega-3 fatty acids decrease inflammation and decrease the growth of most cancers.
A word of caution. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs increase the risk of bleeding
and stomach ulcers. Anti-inflammatory drugs increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes and should be used under
the supervision of your doctor.
